Edwina is a ever-curious life-long learner, currently completing a Juris Doctor of Law on scholarship with Monash University on top of a day job driving innovation and new ways of working at Telstra, and giving big energy to girledworld as Co-Founder and COO.

We don't know how she does it!

But she does. Brilliantly.

Since finishing a Bachelor of Media and Communications at the University of Melbourne and study at New York’s Columbia University (Barnard College), Edwina's career has seen her work across a variety of industries including:

  • State Government Media, PR and Communications

  • Commercial and Marketing Partnership divisions of the AFL Industry and Tennis Australia

  • Strategic Communications within A Victorian Emergency Service provider

  • AND her current work in Tech and Innovation Transformation and Change within Telstra's Product & Technology division.

Across these roles, Edwina has been renowned for her relationship development and strategic communications skills, ability to consistently drive outcomes in ambiguous and complex circumstances, and her passion to get the best out of the people around her; harnessing people's inherent creativity to solve problems of any scale!

Edwina also completed her Master of Entrepreneurship at the University of Melbourne in 2016 (First Class Honours) and is a member of the NewCo Melbourne Advisory Council.

At the age of 26 yrs, Edwina's career has been very different to that of past generations: spanning many industries, many roles and never being a permanent employee! As Foundation for Young Australian research suggests, Edwina is well on her way to having 17 jobs within 5 different industries...and it's only the beginning!

In her free time, when not playing footy on Saturdays within the VAFA League, Edwina has a love of regional, alpine and coastal Victoria, spending much of her free time away from the Melbourne city-scape soaking up the fresh-air (and trying to avoid sunburn!)
