We are obsessing right now at the so-good-you-could-eat-them graphics and colour palettes of super-charged designer Catherine Kim.

Catherine is a multidisciplinary designer and art director based in New York City who loves experimenting with bright colors and graphic compositions. Her work combines graphic design with photography, art, and styling to create elegant but striking visuals.

Catherine loves building brands through visual storytelling and works on a variety of projects ranging from branding, graphic design, art direction, content creation, installation, to video and stop-motion. Chocolate is her favourite vegetable :)

So this happened. We'll let Banksy tell the story.

The ever-elusive world-famous graffiti artist Banksy has just released a new video detailing the now infamous shredding of his "Girl With Balloon" painting — which was auctioned off at Sothebys earlier this month and had the crowds aghast at what happened as soon as the sale hammer went down.

The clip first shows some behind-the-scenes footage of Banksy creating the self-shredding frame that holds the painting, and giving it a few test runs. Banksy also mentioned in the clip that the painting was supposed to shred all the way through — instead of just half-way.

The rest of the clip shows Banksy — or whoever pushed the button to set off the machine — at Sothebys on auction day. The POV footage includes the person mingling among the crowd, speaking with attendees, and pushing the button as soon as "Girl With Balloon" was auctioned for approximately $1.3 million.
